Dawei claim it's an improvement over the SavigaV pips, which are by most accounts are pretty good. Dawei says there's more reversal yet more control. I'm not sure this is possible, but they do hint at a difference in surface texture between the tips and the sides of the pips. This makes for trickier guessing on the amount of reversal, depending on how deep the ball sinks into the pips. From all accounts and from my testing, it seems to be correct.
